The mission of Institutional Effectiveness is to support policy development, strategic planning, decision making, and institutional assessment through collecting, analyzing, maintaining, and providing data and intelligence about the university along with ensuring compliance with state, federal and other external reporting requirements. As the official source of institutional information, the office of Institutional Effectiveness is guided by official reporting protocols and best practices in the field.

Institutional Effectiveness not only handles requests for data and mandatory reports to state, federal and other agencies, but we also provide consulting for complex research projects, initiatives, planning, and assessment. This includes providing official institutional data, analyses, and research to support and improve decision-making. In support of this mission, IE:

  • Provides data for the institution’s accountability and compliance with accrediting agencies and government entities
  • Collects, analyzes, and provides campus administrators with appropriate data and information
  • Coordinates planning, budgeting, evaluation, and course evaluation processes
  • Responds to data requests and surveys
